    Arabic

Here are different Arabic vocabulary cards.

I took the pictures from my Microsoft Word document software. The Arabic is derived from a work on the Internet created by someone called Salim, at Arabic (Speak 7)

I take only the credit for putting it all together and making improvements since I found a few mistakes in Salim’s work and added a few more words, erased a few more words.

Please let me know if you know of any way to improve those cards. Note that there are pictures of people due to the availability of images.

Note that if you are having problem opening the PDF files it is probably because you did not download the last version (0.7) of the software, free to download online. Thanks.

Here is the French version of the cards.

    Writer’s Tools

    E-Books Reader

    • This software reads the books for you.You just have to upload any text onto it. Great for those who are busy in the house or those who have a disability, or those who just enjoy books on tape.
    • Download the best version for you at PDF E-Books readers

    PDF Acrobat

    • A software that everyone needs in order to read many files from the Internet.
    • Download the best version for you at PDF readers

    Avant Browser

    • The best Internet Browser you will come across, and for free! It is better than Netscape or Explorer. This Browser permits you to block unwanted adds or pop ups from web sites while leaving you the choice to have them if you want to. The great thing is that it does not block password pop ups. You can open multiple windows in the same browser and dispose them the way you like.
    • Maybe the most interesting feature is that if the computer crashes or you are in a hurry to close the Browser, it keeps in memory the pages you were working on, and give them back to you when you are online again, even after a few days!
    • It has other features, one of them is that you can erase cookies and all the traces of your browsing on the Internet by just a click away!

    • Download it from http://download.com and read the reviews.

    Other Good Browsers

    Rough Draft

    • A freeware word processor suitable for the busy writer. Some of the features are:
      • Comprehensive text and paragraph formatting options
      • Importing of files in Word 6.0, Word 97 and HTML formats
      • Side panel - making common operations quicker and more convenient
      • Up to 100 files open at the same time
      • Spellchecking (in British or American English) of the whole text or of individual words, plus a custom dictionary so you can add your own words
      • Dictionary and thesaurus facility (provided by Anthony Lewis’ WordWeb program, which has to be installed separately - it’s not required to run RoughDraft, but strongly recommended)
      • Instant backup to a floppy disk - a very convenient way to make sure you don’t lose your work
      • Saves files in the popular Rich Text Format (RTF), meaning they can be opened in just about any other word processor
      • Can create HTML files of your work for publishing on the web
      • Can automatically generate cover pages for manuscript submissions with word and page counts.
    • Download it from Richard Salsbury’s Home Page.

    Ecology, Recycling, Our Environment

“Indeed there was for (the) Saba’a sign in their dwelling place. Two gardens on the right hand and on the left (and it was said to them): Eat of the Provision of your Lord and be grateful to Him, a fair land and an Oft-forgiving Lord. But they turned away from the obedience of Allah, so We sent against them Sail al-`Arim (flood released from the dam) and we converted the two gardens into gardens producing better bad fruit and tamarisks and some few lote-trees. Like this We required them because they were ungrateful disbelievers and never do We require in such a way except those who are ungrateful disbelievers.” (34:15-17)
